Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release Workshop

Spend two hours dedicated to you - stretching your body, releasing tension and moving stagnant energy. Bec will guide you through Yin Yoga poses complimented alongside Myofascial Release techniques specifically designed to target connective tissue, sore muscles, ligaments and improve flexibility and joint mobility.

If you’re feeling tense, sore and fatigued or spend lots of time hunched over at a desk or phone, this workshop may be just what you need to help release tension and open the body. You will hold Yin shapes for 3 – 8 minutes to gently stretch through the muscles and fascia using lots of supports like blocks and bolsters. Blocks and tennis balls will be used to facilitate the Myofascial Release practices.

Yin Yoga also impacts our Nervous System. If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed or burnt out, the long held supported shapes may be just what you need to help you reduce stress and bring your Nervous System back to homeostasis. When we are unable to process emotions, they can become stuck in the body and build up over time. Yin Yoga works with the energy channels within the body (Meridian Lines) and is designed to help release these energy blockages that have built up over time from physical, emotional and environmental stresses.

As this workshop is two hours in duration, you have the time and space to explore the shapes and myofascial release techniques in ways that you wouldn’t normally get the chance to in a regular class.

This workshop is suitable for all levels and no previous Yoga experience is required to participate.

Tickets are strictly limited to comply with current safety guidelines, so you’ll want to get in quick to avoid missing out. Save your space below!
